I. Sales figures for all car brands in July 2026

According to sales data released by the China Passenger Car Association (CPCA) for July, BYD ranked first in sales among all car brands in July 2026 with 349,474 units sold, a 10.90% increase year-on-year. Chery ranked second with 183,615 units sold, a 27.54% increase year-on-year, bringing its cumulative sales to 1,102,239 units. Geely ranked third with 144,748 units sold in July, a 0.97% increase year-on-year, bringing its cumulative sales to 977,622 units. According to statistics and analysis from the China Association of Automobile Manufacturers, from January to July 2026, the top ten automobile companies (groups) sold a total of 14.822 million vehicles, accounting for 84.2% of the total automobile sales.

In July 2026, automobile exports reached 1.043 million units, up 0.6% month-on-month and 81.3% year-on-year.

From January to July 2026, automobile exports reached 6.14 million units, a year-on-year increase of 66.8%.
